News and Events:Press ReleaseBlack Box sets new benchmarks with Tech Support CentreMunich, March 2016 - As of now, IT network and infrastructure specialist Black Box is bringing its advisory skills together in its new Tech Support Centre (TSC), and is thereby offering customers and partners even more extensive support – by telephone, online using the chat function and even on site! Fifty experienced and specially trained application engineers have sole responsibility for project support and customer service, answer technical questions about products, provide support with projects and demonstrate the respective specific capabilities of the solutions. The creation of the TSC is also a significant milestone in the strategic re-engineering of Black Box as a solutions provider for professional AV, KVM and networking. The specialists at the Tech Support Centres support customers and partners in all stages of the project - from planning via implementation to operation. Customers have a personal contact person available to them at all times. At the same time, the international composition of the team of experts from 13 different countries also guarantees support across national borders. Customers also benefit from the newly created Centre of Expertise (CoE): This integral part of the TSC consists of particularly experienced and highly qualified engineers, who have been deployed as an on-site task force throughout Europe and who assure their customers that their solution is optimally integrated, individually configured and is therefore readily available. “Service and advice have always been important to us. With the wide range of free services we provide, such as technical support by telephone and free trial periods for Black Box products, we are pioneers in the industry”, explains Hans-Peter Kuhnert, Vice President of EMEA Sales at Black Box. “With our development of special product ranges for solution providers, the need for explanation and advice is of course increasing too. We are responding to this with the TSC, to continue to guarantee the best possible advice to our customers and partners with regard to the best possible application for them.” The training centre is playing a part in this too. In the demo rooms, such as those in Hallbergmoos, interested parties can familiarise themselves with different solutions in a live environment and therefore get a sense of the quality, the handling, the installation and the user interface.
